In 2001, Odile and Jean-Max buy Domaine de Noire and for the last ten years, make every effort to restore its original reputation. Serving wine for over three generations, the passion vine guide their daily work. Today, the Domaine de Noire engages in an organic approach, is in conversion to organic farming certification. It is a choice, a commitment, a way of life the vine and wine with respect and belief.
With the help of Olivier, a longtime companion, they take care of the earth and bring the vineyard to give the best local Chinon.

The Domaine de Noire is located in the Loire Valley in the town of Chinon in the heart of the AOC.
The vines, some of which have over 50 years of age, are over 14 hectares.

The estate is composed exclusively of the grape 'Cabernet franc'. This grape cultivated for over 1000 years is cited in many books under the name "Brittany", François Rabelais himself mentions in his works.
The estate's philosophy is to provide highly expressive wines, a true reflection of where they were born.
