Our 2009 vintage character rated 92 + by Robert Parker "Manceau's 2009 Chinon Character - as usual, from old vines on clay-chalk, and 400 liter barrels tasted from 1-3 years of age, to Which He Has deferred from barrels - Seems To Reflect icts in compact, finely Tannic structure and sense of minerality and stoniness of the density icts Vineyards of origin. There are salt, iodine, and smoky dimensions here, too, accenting tart black fruit, beet root, nut oils, artichoke, and iron-rich spinach and chard. (If I'm making it sound as though this wine drinking Would Be good for you, that 'may well Be right!) Be worth Expect this to at least FOLLOWING for a decade. ""
